FAMILY OF INNOVATORS TURN TO FICTION WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE SERIES OF SILENCE

A decade of imagination and storytelling has finally come to life for Lancashire-based entrepreneur and Army Reservist Heath Groves and his family, who have officially launched their debut gothic psychological thriller saga, The Series of Silence.

The first book in the series was released on 4 October 2025, marking the beginning of a haunting trilogy-of-trilogies that explores how silence, secrets, and legacy intertwine across generations. The ambitious project—ten years in the making—has transformed the Groves family from tech innovators into published authors.

Best known as the former CEO of Sundown Solutions, a Microsoft Azure Expert Managed Service Provider, Heath built a career delivering transformative digital solutions for the NHS, Ministry of Defence, and international corporations. Today, he serves as Managing Director of Defence at Telana, while also continuing his service in the Royal Signals Army Reserve, where he was honoured by HRH The Princess Royal for his role in the UK’s COVID-19 response.

Now, that same precision and leadership have found a new outlet in literature. The Series of Silence brings together Heath, his wife, and their children in a creative collaboration that blends psychological suspense, gothic atmosphere, and domestic mystery—a project inspired by their historic family home, Moorside House, a Grade II-listed property once home to pioneering suffragist Lydia Becker.

“This story has lived with us for over ten years,” said Heath Groves. “We wanted to create something that not only entertains but also explores how silence—between people, families, and generations—can shape entire lives. It’s been an incredible family journey from the first idea to publication.”

Described by early readers as “Dan Brown meets The Haunting of Hill House”, the series has already earned praise for its depth and pace.
