The statewide ‘Ready, Steady Grow!’ event series for this year has begun, according to the Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA). The free event, which begins at 4 p.m. on August 29 at the Edinburgh Grand 42, St. Andrew Square, will bring together investors, business owners, and wealth creators to foster economic growth through the creation of investment opportunities.
The ten-event series will concentrate on the devolved states and areas outside of London to benefit business owners all throughout the UK. There will be two components to each event. They will include a technical session with knowledgeable speakers and roundtable discussions on timely topics, including the most recent information on investment trends and entrepreneur success stories. In the second portion, attendees will be invited to a networking reception where they will have the chance to mingle with seasoned investors, subject matter experts, and like-minded business owners, forging meaningful relationships and opening up fresh investment avenues.
The events for “Ready, Steady Grow!” will begin in 2023, according to Christiana Stewart-Lockhart, director general of EISA. “By bringing together investors, entrepreneurs, and wealth builders, we hope to help entrepreneurs looking to start a business, access funding to seize the opportunity, while also raising greater awareness of the EIS and SEIS.”
EISA is aiming to make sure that all UK-based entrepreneurs are aware of the programs and have access to the funding they require to expand and develop their enterprises. The Treasury Select Committee acknowledged in their most recent report that possibilities for investment in high-growth enterprises are more scarce than they should be across the majority of UK regions and countries. The potential for economic growth in all of the nations and areas of the UK may be compromised by this.
To ensure that the EIS and SEIS are better known and understood throughout the entire UK, these activities are essential. According to Christiana Stewart-Lockhart, “We are committed to ensuring that all entrepreneurs have access to the funding they require to expand and develop their firms. Additionally, these events will give entrepreneurs wonderful opportunities to network with some of the UK’s most active investors. Through these events, we will connect with business owners all around the UK and give them the assistance, direction, and knowledge of funding options they need to be successful no matter where they are or what kind of startup they have.
