In an effort to increase the charity’s Christmas fundraising efforts, Hope Spring, a Herefordshire-based clean water advocacy NGO, has partnered with The Queen Bee Shepherds Hut, a nearby short-term vacation rental company. The Christmas season provides a large amount of the donations that the international development charity needs to accomplish its goals. The primary goal of the organisation is to dig boreholes and wells for West African villages that are in severe need of clean water.

As part of the agreement, The Queen Bee Cabin will donate at least £10 for each reservation made through the Hope Spring website and £5 for every additional reservation the business makes in December and January of 2024. Hope Spring Water anticipates using the partnership’s proceeds to help finance its first borehole project in 2024.

“We are absolutely delighted with the partnership with The Queen Bee Cabin and the potential to help us hit our fundraising targets this Christmas,” stated Hope Spring eCards’ platform and partnership manager, Seun Olonade. In addition to raising funds, this relationship will inform visitors staying at The Queen Bee Cabin about our advocacy for reducing water poverty—something they might not have known about otherwise. Ms. Olonade extended an invitation to any organisations interested in partnering with hers, particularly to those considering sending out corporate Christmas cards this year.

Hope Spring water completed more than ten clean water projects in 2023. They hope to increase that by more than fifty percent in 2024.
