The Z650i UMTS Touch Sensitive Slider
The phone will be compatible with i-mode networks.
The guys (and girls) from Samsung have released a new goodie on the market,
the slider Z650i mobile phone, a little weird though if you think about its i-mode compatibility.
Besides its weird i-mode feature, the phone has enough qualities to make any Samsung customer a happy customer that can enjoy the seamless mobile experience that the Sammy handsets offer (I suppose this could be considered a subjective comment because I too own a Samsung phone and I must say we have a pretty harmonious relationship).
Returning to the subject of this article, the newly released Z650i, I can tell you that this is a tri-band UMTS/GSM/EDGE (class 10) device and it features a touch sensitive Chocolate-like keypad under the 262k colors 240×320 pixels QVGA resolution TFT display, a 2 megapixel digital camera capable of 4x zoom, special photo effects and recording MPEG4 and 3GP video clips, a multimedia player that offers support for almost any type of file you can think of these days, an integrated i-mode browser, video calling support, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, 132 MB of internal memory, expandable through a microSD memory card slot, an image editor and many others that make your life much easier.
Another important feature that this handset has is the uTrack service that acts like some sort of burglar alarm and offers the user the possibility to find its cell phone easier and faster.
I don’t have any knowledge about the price this phone will come in the mobile store near you, but I do know that it will arrive some time during November 2006.
